Job Purpose 
As part of our Fundraising team, the Donor Care and Campaigns Officer (Part Time) plays a key role delivering a best-in-class support service to GOAL’s Individual Giving Donor. Reporting the Individual Giving Manager the primary aim of the role is to support our Individual Giving donor base, administration of the Tax Effective Giving CHY forms and to maintain donor records in as complete a manner as possible in GOAL’s CRM.

**Please note this is a part time position (20 hours per week) and will be based in our Dublin HQ in Dun Laoghaire**

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Take lead responsibility for the annual Tax Efficient Giving (TEG) campaign
  • Manager direct in-bound supporter & donor calls/emails as appropriate, including processing phone donations and providing relevant information on campaigns and events.
  • Ensure accurate and up to date management of supporter data through GOAL’s CRM System
  • Processing manual credit card transactions via Stripe and other payment gateways as needed
  • Fielding queries related to GOAL’s donor engagement activities in general.
  • Act as the primary contact point for supporter queries and ensure all GOAL supporters receive timely communication for their support.
  • Manage outbound calls to donors, for appeals, events and tax cert acquisition.
  • Complete ownership of the Thank You / Acknowledgement letter / receipt process, and prompt and accurate attention to donor queries
  • identification of duplicate donors, merging records in CRM taking care to maintain data integrity and giving history.
  • management of GDPR aspects of CRM

Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a busy administrative role, ideally with a customer facing background (Customer Service, Reception, Office Management)
  • Experience with posting payments/bookkeeping is an advantage (though not essential)
  • Accurate with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communicator (both written and verbal) comfortable dealing with a diverse range of queries form public
  • Competence in Microsoft Office applications, hands on experience with CRM databases, and /or accounting systems is also an advantage.

**GOAL offers staff flexible working with our hybrid model, we require our HQ employees to work 2 days per week from our office in Dun Laoghaire, Dublin**
