What is Global Citizenship Education?
With our Global Citizenship Education programme, we are contributing to raising a generation of Global Citizens who understand and critically reflect on our interconnected world, and who can act in pursuit of a fairer, more equal, and sustainable world for all.
Inspiring new Global Citizens
GOAL's Global Citizenship team works with primary and secondary schools across Ireland. Our Global Citizenship Education workshops, resources and programmes explore how global justice issues interlink with children’s daily lives, challenge stereotypes and encourage critical thinking.
We offer a range of programmes and resources for pupils of all ages across Ireland!
Teacher Information Sessions
We offer information sessions for teachers and student teachers in the areas of Development Education and Global Citizenship.
Please get in touch to find out more
about upcoming events for teachers at firstname.lastname@example.org for further support.
We would love to hear from you!
Starting from September 2021, you can
book an online workshop with our Global Citizenship team. We will call in live to your classroom, and take you and your class on an interactive Global Citizenship Journey. Contact our Global Citizenship team at email@example.com
Currently on hold due to COVID-19 restrictions.
While we can’t be in your classrooms during Covid-19, we have many Global Citizenship Education resources and programmes for you, including “The Global Citizen’s Journey” toolkit designed by our Global Youth Programme 2020.
