The Global Solidarity Hub will return to the Curious Minds Arena at All Together Now Festival 2025, taking place from 1–3 August at Curraghmore Estate, Co. Waterford.

Curated by Trócaire, GOAL, and Sightsavers Ireland, and supported by Irish Aid, the Hub brings together leading voices in global justice, inclusion, equality, peace and climate action for a weekend of powerful conversations, creative workshops and cultural performances.

Back for a second year and with an expanded programme, the Global Solidarity Hub will feature a full weekend of panel discussions, workshops, performances, meditations and craftivism. The tent is open to all ages, with activities designed to inspire action on local and global issues.

“This year’s programme is bigger and better than ever,” said Jennifer Flynn, Volunteer & Events Manager at Trócaire. “From craftivism and meditation to live performances and hands-on workshops for young activists, the Solidarity Hub is a place to recharge, reflect and reimagine the world we want to live in. We’re delighted to partner again with GOAL and Sightsavers and are grateful for the support of Irish Aid.”

Programme Highlights

Each morning will begin with guided meditation beginning at 10.30am, followed by daily creative sessions for young festivalgoers at 11am.

Key sessions throughout the weekend include:

  • Storytelling workshop with Seanoíche (Friday)
  • Patchwork making with Taz Kelleher of Useless Projects (Saturday)
  • Panel: Solidarity in Climate and Nature, featuring ornithologist and award-winning author Séan Ronayne

A Friday panel at 2 pm will feature The Great Oven. This grassroots initiative builds giant, beautifully crafted community ovens in refugee camps and conflict zones to promote solidarity through food, art, and music. This year, their mission is to expand to the West Bank whilst creating a cultural bridge between Palestine and a homebase in Ireland.

On Sunday, Leon Diop, CEO of Black and Irish, joins a panel on Solidarity and Inclusion, highlighting civic engagement and representation for minority communities in Ireland.

Evenings will conclude with the Solidarity Soundtrack, featuring live performances from Fortune, Tebi Rex, and Salamay.

“The Global Solidarity Hub is a powerful platform to share stories of resilience and collective action,” said Victoria Walshe, Global Citizenship Manager at GOAL Global. “It brings global issues to life in ways that are accessible, inspiring and relevant to people of all ages. We’re proud to return to All Together Now with our partners to help shape a more just, sustainable world.”

A Space for Change

With a focus on participation and empowerment, the Global Solidarity Hub invites festivalgoers to explore how art, culture and activism can drive global impact. All sessions are free with festival entry.

“Whether you’re passionate about disability inclusion, climate action, equality, or empowerment, the Hub offers space to connect and take meaningful action. Sightsavers Ireland is very proud to once again partner with the Hub, to showcase the work that is being done by the partner organisations on local and global issues.” added Róisín McAtamney from Sightsavers Ireland.
