The Dublin Block Party returns for its third year this July, continuing its mission to celebrate community, creativity, and connection in the heart of Dublin 2.

Founded by artist Maser, and presented by Atelier Now, this one-day event will transform Charlemont Square into a hub of live art, music, workshops, and family friendly activities on Saturday July 26th.

10 visual artists will take to Charlemont Square where each artist will create a live painting from start to finish, resulting in 10 unique murals. Visitors are encouraged to come along, meet the artists, and engage with the vibrant cultural scene that Dublin has to offer. We’ll have a craft market on site, food by Krewe, a live DJ and a (ticketed) evening of music and poetry to close out the events. This will be a family friendly environment with children encouraged to take part in the kids’ mural wall, a kite building workshop, face painting and more.

“We are excited to invite everyone back to the Dublin Block Party, a celebration of creativity and community. Our aim is to provide a platform where art enthusiasts and the public can come together to experience and participate in the vibrant artistic culture of the city” said Maser, Artist, and Founder of Atelier Now

Speaking in advance of the Dublin Block Party, Vikki Walshe, GOAL Global Citizenship Manager said “GOAL NextGen is delighted to partner with Maser and Atelier Now on this exciting celebration of arts, culture and connection in the city, with thanks to our proud partner Irish Aid.”

“We look forward to engaging with communities at the Block Party on global development and justice issues. Our GOAL NextGen Youth members will invite the public to contribute to our ‘Welcome Wall’ and perform music and spoken word. Featured artists, including Palestinian Tuqa Al-Sarraj (podcast) and Brazilian artist Thais Muniz, will create live paintings and showcase their work, celebrating global citizenship and solidarity. Join us on Saturday July 26th” continued Vikki Walsh.
