Turning Waste into Energy in Sierra Leone
Freetown produces over a thousand tonnes of waste every day - much of it untreated. Until recently, there were no system in place nationwide to safely manage human waste at scale. This video shows how that’s changing. At this site, waste is collected, processed, and converted into clean fuel.
