This St. Patrick's Day, we're calling on communities across Ireland to unite for a greater good globally.
Let's come together and provide life-saving support, including food, clean water, shelter, and medicine, to families affected by conflict and disaster in Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America.
How it Works
From March 10th – 17th, schools and workplaces across Ireland will wear GOAL Shamrock Badges with pride to support families affected by conflict, hunger and climate change.
Each adhesive shamrock badge costs €2, and the order deadline is March 4th. Badges will be delivered during the week leading up to March 10th.
By taking part, you’ll help provide:
- Emergency food and medical care
- Clean water and safe shelter
- Lifesaving support for families in crisis across GOAL’s 14 programme countries

Empower your students to make a real difference.
When your school joins Shamrocks for GOAL, students learn that even a small act like wearing a badge can help children living through crisis in countries like Syria, Ethiopia, Haiti, Sudan, and beyond.
How your school can take part:
- Order your Shamrock Badges before March 4th. You can base your order on your total number of students or your individual class sizes
- Students can wear their badges on uniforms, school bags, or proudly on St. Patrick’s Day
- Teachers can use this as a simple way to teach empathy, solidarity, and global citizenship
Your school becomes part of a nationwide movement of children helping children by spreading hope and kindness when it’s needed most.

How your workplace can take part:
- Order shamrock badges for staff to wear in the office, during team‑building days, or even at your St. Patrick’s Day celebrations
- Host a small in‑office fundraiser like a breakfast morning, green-themed dress day, or bake sale
- If an event isn’t possible, your company can still make an impactful one‑off donation
