About Changemakers

The 17 Global Goals

The aim of the GOAL Changemakers Award is to collect, celebrate and share your fantastic ideas of how to contribute to the Global Goals with all participating schools and the Irish public.

We are calling all 3rd - 6th class age groups to enter the GOAL Changemakers Award!

We invite you to get to know the Global Goals, take action to help achieve them and share your actions with us to be in with a chance to win numerous fun prizes.

Yes, our future faces big challenges like Climate Change, Poverty and Global Injustices, and hearing about these can be overwhelming. However, there are reasons to be optimistic about the future!

The 17 Global Goals are agreed upon by all UN world leaders and have the power to end poverty, fight inequality, stop climate change and protect our oceans, flora and fauna by 2030.

A generation of incredibly conscientious and active young people and educators who are taking so many actions to bring about a fair and sustainable world.
